Wasteland provinces chaning to the wrong owner for no reason [1.12.10.91f2] [0f26]

Description
For example when you release Algeria as France, the algerian desert will be transfered back to your control a day after, or if you have chad released the chad desert will go to uk control, i think it has something to do with neighbouring countries but it really messes up the borders if you have many african countries like Niger and Mali released and at war with UK for example. I have noticed this glitch with Libya and Italy as well for example after releasing Libya as a puppet you in some cases still have the desert as italy. The issue has been in the game for quite a while now, i think ever since no step back released. I think it has something to do with the way wasteland provinces are programmed but it's really ugly and causes bordergore (like we dont have enough of that already).
Steps to Reproduce
- Release Mali and Mauritania for example as france
- Declare war on Mali and Mauritania as UK for example
- wait until the next day
- the mauritanian desert will switch control to Mali for no reason.
