Hi i tried to get into HoI 3 a few times did the tutorial countless of times thinking ok i can do this.
Then as soon as starting the game i'm completly and utterly lost.

So will HoI 4 have a better tutorial then 3 ?
So that it will be more accessible to noobs like me.

And will it be like a playable tutorial ?
Unlike the HoI 3 tutorial which is only reading and basicly only explains you the menus.

In the tutorial you play as italy and it shows you how to do production lines, deploy troops etc and in the end lets you invade ethiopia.

I had to read the manual and strategy guide before starting with HOI 3. It was the first paradox game I played,so that has to do something with that as well. I don't know whether we're getting a manual with HOI 4.

Easy to understand, hard to master was the catch phrase for many Paradox games before.

But as they want to make this game more "mainstream" (as far as a grand strategy can be) to appeal to a large base of customers maybe it will be somewhat less hard to master ?

Also, as the game was long in the making the DDs are less accurate as there was many substantial changes. So a good tutorial and manual would be quite helpful.

PS I didn't used dumb down as I respect the devs too much.
