Description
My French non-ironman, non-historical campaign crashes shortly after loading my current save i.e. at about 5 pm on 4 June 1942.

It crashes abruptly to desktop without fail, so I'm unable to continue playing the campaign. The error log's contents are the same on each occasion, and start with:

Unhandled Exception C0000005 (EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION) at address 0x00007FF79E2B8D98

Most references to Unhandled Exception crashes seem to involve mods breaking, but my game is unmodded. I have uninstalled, deleted steamapps/common and Documents/Paradox folders, reinstalled, and still experience the same crash. I've unplugged my USB controller and webcam, without effect.

DLC: All DLC except By Blood Alone

Mods: None

Steps to Reproduce
Load my campaign (attached), unpause it, game will crash after about one ingame day.
