Vidzeme, a 5-tile Forest province in Latvia (just above Riga), has a population of 1.5 million. The Total population of Latvia in the 1935 census was 1,905,936. In the game, Latvia has a population of 2.92 million, which leads me to believe that when this province was split into 3, you didn't take the million population away from this province that are now in other states.
