100% reproduceable and unavoidable crash to desktop on rollover 1940/06/12 at 24:00 to 1940/06/13 01:00

Mods used were basically cosmetic (change leader of PRC and USA, add a general to SOV, colored buttons, and both Lamp's Equipment Icons packs. Only non-cosmetic or functionally cosmetic mod is Increased Resources - Event. Game loads fine without mods, save for blank portraits, crash still repeats at the same date and time).

Dump (from mod-free repetition) and save are provided.

Unlike a similar previously reported crash, annexing CHI (or rather YUN, or even all the warlords) does not prevent the crash.

Update: I have verified the cause: The Baltics are at fault. Somehow or another, Lithuania, which has joined the Axis, is crashing the game when the Soviet Union (not currently at war with the Axis) attempts to annex Lithuania via focus, the game crashes. Annexing Lithuania solved that crash, but it crashed a few days later, and I suspect that the other Baltic states are causing the same problem, since when running it again, but annexing all the Baltic states (LIT to GER, LAT and EST to SOV), the game seems to run fine until the next round of focuses is completed. I suspect that the Soviet "Baltic Security" focus or its surrounding events is somehow causing this. Forcing the focus to bypass by also annexing Finland results in smooth sailing.

TL;DR: the Soviet Baltic Security focus (or its associated events), for whatever reason, does not seem to work well with some combination of a.) no Molotov-Ribentrop Pact, b.) the rest of WWII already going on, c.) Lithuania being in the Axis, and/or d.) Something else that I haven't even noticed.

Hello. I'm looking into this now. So far I've been unable to reproduce the crash with mods disabled however, even when letting the "Baltic Security" focus finish. I'll try and reproduce with mods however. Can you give me a full list of the mods you were using?

Off the workshop: Colored Buttons, Lamp's Eqpt Icons 1 & 2, Increased Resources - Event

Not off the workshop or manually updated: Roza Shanina as USSR general (updated to new general format, added to 1.5 SOV history), Maria Salazar as communist USA HOS (redone off of 1.5 USA history), switched Mao out for his wife (used Kaiserreich portrait for Jiang Qing, pointed PRC history at correct file), made Women in Aviation focus accessible through both routes.

Disabling all of the above does not prevent the crash for me and none of them should affect the Baltics

It may also be relevant that I am not running Windows - I'm on Linux Mint 17, which is broadly identical to Ubuntu 14.04.

Thanks for the additional Info. I've passed the save over to a colleague with a Linux machine to see if it's OS specific.

Ok so we were unable to reproduce this on a Linux machine too.

However this has been logged as with the dump file we can hopefully find out what's going on but I can't promise a fix.

It's also possible that there's something else off about my desktop environment, but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

If I can't duplicate it in other playthroughs, I'll just take the offending minors out of the picture and carry on with my current game.

Okay, so I can't recreate the crash from a fresh game, even with the same mods active and attempting to duplicate the circumstances (or at least the circumstances in Eastern Europe), so I'm just going to call this a fluke unless that dump turns up something interesting and carry on with my playthrough using the fix that works for me (turns out I don't need to poof Lithuania or Latvia, just satisfying the cancel conditions on the Soviet Union's focus is good enough).

And I'm dreadfully sorry if all this turns out to be a colossal waste of time.
