Description
In chronological order;
As Nationalist China (started as them) I got the treaty with Japan by driving them off the mainland, but soon after they declared war on my puppet Shanxi and the war was on again. The treaty should probably clear all wargoals on any Chinese nation.

Secondly, to get the "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" achievement, I read that I had to integrate Yunnan and the Guangxi Clique through the "Together for Victory" puppet system rather than by decisions (the tooltip should be clarified to specify this if this is the only intended way to do this). Before I did this, I wanted the commanders, so I integrated their armies by decision. This netted me the "Warlord Integration" idea for both, for a total of -0.5 political power a day. Then I did what I had to do by construction and lend leasing until I integrated them for the achievement, and the horrible national spirit/idea stayed. Some intelligent functionality should probably be made to clear this in the event of mix and match integration through decisions and the autonomy system.

Now by this point I was pretty annoyed with my ironman game, and the bugs therein (bonus bug I just remembered, there might have been unreinforcable expeditionary forces from Yunnan and the Guangxi Clique in my armies at this point, so I tried deleting them, and then I just had units belonging to non-existant nations hanging around Siberia). But while the bugs were annoying, I decided to press on as nothing was quite gamebreaking by now (pretty annoying with the slow political power gain though, even with a Silent Workhorse, Executive Yuan and high stability).

So in my war against the Soviet Union to secure some resources while attempting to build up against the Allies, apparently needing to take Hong Kong, Macau (had at least gotten Portugal to join the Comintern instead of the Allies) and that French city to get the "Awake and Angry" achievement (intended or not?), me and my puppets managed to do more than 40% of the job in that war. I never joined the Axis, but had NAPs with the members. But when the peace conference came, having pushed through Siberia, across the Urals, Germany capitulated the Soviet Union as they had access to all the victory points, and maybe because of the three way war between the Soviets, Japan and me, the Peace conference happened without Chinese involvment, and Germany took everything. I still controlled the states in Siberia, but I did not own a single one. And that is when I quit, only to find my backup from way back early in the Soviet game as I had just switched to a new computer. Fuck ironman players who don't savescum seems to be the vibe I'm getting here.

Anyways, this needs to be looked into. You can't block people from peace conferences just because they're in war against one of the other participants. If I bother to redo the game from the earlier save, I might have to join the Axis to get anything at all, and that is despite Japan contributing nothing at all to the war against the Soviets.

I normally contribute minor stuff to the suggestions forum, never getting an answer. All the bugs reported this time, however, are serious, and needs to be looked into, they range from plain stupid, to gameplay sewage, to actually gamebreaking. And the achievements are probably way too demanding (taking the cities off the Allies could be a world war in itself).

Steps to Reproduce
-Japan instantly getting back into war against China:

Get the warlords as puppets. Get the treaty with Japan, driving them off the mainland. If Japan still has a wargoal against you or Shanxi, expect a new war declared before you can move your troops off the frontlines.

- Everlasting puppet integration idea:

Have Yunnan and the Guangxi Clique (or probably any of the decision mentioned warlords) as subjects. Take the army integration decision for both, then integrate them through the TfV autonomy system (might be escapable if you release them as subjects and finish the decision chains, but this costs a lot of political power, and wastes your intial integration).

- Integrated subject troops lingering:

(Probably optional) get into a war. Request expeditionary forces from subjects. Integrate said subjects. You should now have unreinforcable useless troops in your armies. Lucky you.

- No peace treaty for you chump:

Get into a war. Let some other impressive AI declare war on you right after having peace with you. Let them later declare war on your first target through focuses picked with an extreme case of obsessive compulsive disorder. Now you have yourselves a three way war between the Soviets, the Chinese and some angry imperialists on a volcanic island chain. Cue peace treaty which only Germany gets to be a part of as the other chumps are fighting each other. ??? Profit. No, wait, the other one. Expenses due.

Only mod activated was "Coloured Buttons", an achivement compatible mod which likely had nothing to do with these bugs. Paradox, please fix these issues. Oh, and on the plus side (while I still remember) the initial war against Japan was rather entertaining and somewhat challenging with them eventually creating some 40-width divisions and putting up quite a fight. So good job there.
