HoI 4 - Navy cant find enemy Navys or convoys (defenetly fixed in a previous patch)

Description of issue
Navy cant find enemy Navys or convoys

Game Version
Barbarossa v.1.11.4.45cf (6cf1)

Enabled DLC
Together for Victory, Death or Dishonor, Waking the Tiger, Man The Guns, La Resistance, Battle for the Bosporus, No Step Back

Do you have mods enabled?
No

Description
Navys cant realy find enemy fleets or convoys, thats because their dayli progress in find enemy ships is extremly low, so they rarely catch anything. For example while the complete royal navi is patrouling the Channel the Kriegsmarine can easy slip threw because of the slow progress in spotting the enemy Navy. Same goes for trade, raidig the UK with about 60 U-boats only reduces their trade by 5% because you rarely catch convoys. I tested this with a friend so he went all in on trade with the US und i raided his trade Route which he didnt protect at all.

For more info see the images, theyre all take from the same game

Steps to Reproduce
Pick any Nation

go to war with the UK

try to raid their convoys or try to find their ships via the pratoul mission

Experienced a similar issue with the USA had 200+ ships main fleet (tried boyh as a single death stack or multiple stacks) attacking convoys outside of japan and the amount of convoys and didnt catch anything, while japan continued to attack India and the East Indies, so is not like they stoped supply flow via sea

Maybe there aren't any convoys to intercept. EDIT: Although from your screenshot it definitely looks like they should be there.

Trains kinda broke the game where everything gets prioritized to travel over land, even if it isn't efficient. If it can't supply enough through the railroad, the game just says, "oh well." Seems to even affect areas that can't be reached by train (like islands)

Here you can see that I have troops in Vladivostok who are undersupplied but the navy map shows no convoys attempting to make up for the shortcomings of the railroads. It should be no problem for the navy to sail out of Crimea or Leningrad and supply a level 8 naval port on the pacific coast, especially when I'm not at war.

In any case, something is definitely wrong with convoy transport post-NSB.

Thats true but its although trade and naval invasions which cant be intercepted, for that look at my images (nr. 4, all images are taken from the same game). i played a multyplayer game with a friend who traded like 200 oil from the us as britain and my submarines couldnt find almost any convoys in these areas where all the trade went threw. He didnt protect his trade at all while i was raiding with 60 subs und like 95% of his trade was still getting threw.

Yeah. It is strange. Convoys are definitely not behaving well in No Step Back.

This is a problem since it was one of the mayor ways to shut down japan and the uk both SP and MP. If the ignored navy screens you were able to take out all the convoys so they coudnt trade and not produce anything since they are island nations they have to trade via convoys, this dlc was supposed to make them have to pay attention to that even more and seems like the complete opposite happend, they really dont care if 12 BB and 6 CVs are patroling outside Tokyo and Nagasaki seems like convoys suddenly got the stats of SUBS III they are not detectable

I can set it up for one nation to make sure there are convoys to hit, by breaking a rail link (annexed to another nation) and causing supply to be sent by sea, with no war going on to change anything else. Supplying 40 divisions by sea going through a stratit.

Couldn't even find them as the searching navy. Had search groups up with radar and floatplanes. I ran a light carrier group through thered, again with radar cruisers in the group. Nothing.

Something got borked. Let's please find what it is, and take care of it. Thanks!

I agree with posters above that this problem was fixed in the latest (1.11.4 mk 3) beta. I loaded a savegame after the update, and without changing anything I'd sank almost all the Kriegsmarine within ten minutes of play...... :D So I think something changed!

Great work, devs!
