HOI4 - [1.12.11] [Checksum 66ce] Swiss Trade with Germany not cancelling upon going to war

Description
I was playing the Gotthardbund path for Switzerland and formed the Alpine Protectorate, whereupon I noticed an event popup a few months after I went to war with Germany. The event was titled "Our ongoing trade with the German Reich" and the options were "Yes, we need these supplies for our survival" and "No, it is too risky", to which I picked the latter. I suspect it's because I finished Axis Gold and did the decision to get Germany to trade their Gold through me, but for some reason the spirit did not go away upon the declaration of war. I even said no to the event, yet Germany still kept their "Importing War Production from Switzerland" national spirit, even after the war ended when they became a British puppet.

Steps to Reproduce
Historical focuses on
1. Select "Neutrality is untenable" after first focus finishes
2. Remove all democratic advisors as they get elected and replace with Adolf Furrer (to be elected president), Christian Gasser, Jakob Huber, Lucien Tronchet
3. Do Allied Gold, then do the decision Open Banks to Democratic Nation and get France to agree twice.
4. Successfully preempt Anschluss by having 25 citizen militia in addition to the 13 starting divisions (distribute weapons to get enough mil readiness)
5. Successfully demand Alps from Italy and France by spamming 2 width infantry, switching them all to 18 width infantry once having accumulated enough
6. Do Axis Gold after the League of Nations disbands (in my run it was after Italy declared on Yugoslavia)
7. Get Germany to agree to it at least once
8. Manually justify for one state and declare on Germany once they are at war with Soviets
9. Wait a few months and the event should pop up
