Does the same occur if you mouse-over the Ground-Attack mission adjuster?

Aye, we have some hope to improve the flow on this particular issue, but for now the workaround of mousing over (or selecting, I think) the adjuster, should give you the appropriate stat values for the mission type you're interested in.
