Description
As Germany, I've somehow managed to lose 30,000 equipment against the pact of Rome at a ridiculous rate over the span of a few months.

I was able to break through Austria and Hungary fairly quickly, but when Italy joined I couldn't take more than a couple provinces before I suddenly had a several thousand deficit in infantry equipment, artillery and support equipment.

While Italy has a decent defensive position in the Alps, I have overwhelming air superiority, better division templates and similar overall numbers.

Tagging over to Italy reveals they've somehow accrued a 30000+ surplus of infantry equipment.

It would appear that something has gone horribly wrong with equipment recovery. I've included screenshots and a game save.

Update 1: This has happened twice now, I started a game as Republic of China and was steadily holding the line when I noticed my division strength taking a precipitous plunge. Japan, who'd been futilely attacking my frontline for the past several minutes no longer had a significant equipment deficit. The game I played in between Germany and China as Manchukuo did not appear to have the problem.

Update 2: When I stopped attacking a mountain province my equipment stopped evaporating.

Update 3: A quick game as Ethiopia would seem to confirm it. Mountains somehow increase the equipment you recover from enemies to ridiculous extremes.

Steps to Reproduce
Start a game as Italy. Push the Ethiopians back to the mountains .While intermittently attacking the mountains, keep an eye on the logistics tab. You should see hundreds of infantry equipment go missing at times. This effect seems to be exacerbated when two forces are close to the same strength.

I lost tens of thousands of infantry equipment over the span of a couple weeks while playing as Germany and China such that my entire army was crippled, in spite of (in the case of Germany) having strong air coverage and good supply.

I have never lost or consumed that much equipment in even close to this time frame through combat in previous patches.

The fact that AI Italy ended up with a 30,000 surplus of equipment that it hadn't allocated to building new divisions, at the same time that I'd lost a similar amount of infantry equipment, leads me to believe that attacking the mountains resulted in more equipment being captured than was committed to the battle.
