I'm pretty sure HoI4 will be good overall, and released in a nice way, as PI failed with HoI3.
If you think HOI3 failed what exactly is inspiring confidence in HOI4 for you?

Despite the fact that counters have been confirmed and shown all over the forums.
Are you being completely ridiculous?Counters have neither been confirmed nor shown on the forum. In fact it has been confirmed that there wont be counters, hence the uproar. What there will be is not the Nato style counter most players want but some rectangular looking thing that you have to zoom all the way out / or in whichever before you see it. It simply isnt the same thing. So if your going to Flame, you should at least get the details correct.![]()
That lead to an early miss understanding, the info 'cards' or mini-counters are different than the 'Nato-style' or traditional wargame counters and do different things (like they don't represent a single division, but all the divisions of that type in that province). Are you being completely ridiculous?

That thread is literally on the front page of these forums and features loads of images of counters. Yes those counters are slightly modified but the basic design is quite clear and still there.

Too many two different things with different functions that are similar & generally have the same name.
Brutally honestly, I was 100% sure the "where are the counters" posts were just trolling in the beginning. Square or rectanglar, pictograms or NATO symbols, counters are counters. Denying this has caused confusion since day one. I seem to recall even Podcat had to have it explained to him what you guys really meant, and that should tell you something.Counters have neither been confirmed nor shown on the forum. Yeah, about that...So if your going to Flame, you should at least get the details correct.
Your judging people off their post count? How mature, and that's despite the fact that I've probably lurked here more than you, so stop this childish counting contest of "I've got more posts than you!" Immediately. The player with 2,420 posts gets it, the one with 11 does not...
Unfortunately we will be beating alot of dead horses over and over in the next 6+ months until launch...
Yes..you have lurked since Aug 15, 2014. That's almost a year.
I thought the nicest counters I ever used in a wargame were in Avalon Hill's The Longest Day. They were circular for HQ's and square for units, and used the historically accurate German symbols instead of the abomination Nato symbols.
