HOI 4 Counters

The problem as I see it is as long as I can remember we are taken for granted. Unlike some companies (the smart ones) PI doesnt interact with us hardly at all (thinking back to the HOI3 forum especially),

In the HOI3 forum I have repeatedly asked for more randomness/ diversity in the options for nations so the game wouldnt be stale. Hell all the mods did it. Podcat chided me and said I wanted a whole different game. I disagreed.

Just going to quote this from the same post you made for hilarity. AFAIK there are only a handful of gaming companies that interact as much as we do with our fans. Although interaction with HOI3 forum is very low since we started on hoi4 obviously... but as you said yourself I still took the time to reply to you. We do also read a lot more than we reply. Replying takes a lot of time, and generally stuff has already been answered by someone else on the forum.

p.s I did some quick checks and me and Darkrenown and Johan who are probably the ones with most posts in the HOI forums have a total of over 50k posts on the forum...

Additionally some things aren't worth debate since you'll never convince someone. Is god real? Is Steam evil? Do we need counters? You can lay out what you think, but it won't convince people who think otherwise and there's no point repeating yourself forever.

It wasn't sarcasm? Another reason I post less these days is people like to jump on any dev point to turn it into a fight. Talking to the forum is no longer a fun interaction.

People were complaining about lack of dev posts, in yet another thread about counters. That fact that were have already stated our position on many of the oft-repeated issues is a large reason why we're quiet at the moment, the others are being super busy with getting a passed Alpha, and lack of motivation stemming from a more hostile atmosphere.

This is very sad and I am sorry you feel this way.
As far as I'm concerned, I read any dev's post with great interest (and I suppose it's the same for almost everybody else).

Likely. Most of you are great people who are excited about the game or can at least give constructive feedback for stuff you dislike. Others just want to be jerks who and turn every post into a reason to fight. Sadly a small number of the latter, applied constantly, saps the fun from interacting with the former - see how I get 2 people already giving me snarky posts in response to me saying they get less dev interaction due to snarky posts, I'm sure I'll get more in reply to this one too. I'm sorry a rude minority gets to reduce dev interaction for everyone, but we post here because we like to, not because we have to, and I like it a lot less these days.

I called no one children and, no, I don't need to put up with abrasive comments and posting here is not part of my job requirement. You have made a good job of proving my point by inventing a reason to be offended by a simple post mentioning why we don't comment on common issues though.

It was meant to be about hoi4 counters, which is still a valid topic. But yes, is fairly derailed at this point
