2. Description: I was playing as dutch east indies, and fired a fascist (my team) civil war to free myself from dutch overlords. During the civil war, WW2 fired, and allies got dragged in as enemies. I joined the Japanese fascist faction. We defeated/capitulated the democratic dutch east indies and their allies by taking their capital and the last troops holding it. I got a pop up saying "D.E.I. has capitulated, here is the shit you stole" clicked "OK", and then it went to game-over. Confused, I clicked observe - turns out Democratic DEI (even more democratic than before) owns all my land, all their land (except the land that had japanese forces in it at the end of the war), and all the land I captured from british malaya. Fascist DEE (my team) is gone, despite me winning. I didn't unexpectedly lose my capital or anything, as I had some armies standing on it at the end of the game - it was basically the last thing I checked before the war ended.
In short, I won the war, but the game acted as if democrats did and I got game over.

Not sure. Ironman save, so can't really check. Try starting a fascist civil war as Dutch East Indies and then win? Might do it.

Not sure. Ironman save, so can't really check. Try starting a fascist civil war as Dutch East Indies and then win? Might do it.
