Can't assign army commanders in army group viewer

Description
Previously, when I assigned an army group under a Field Marshal and (on top left window) switched to viewing armies instead of divisions of the army group, I could click on portraits to assign Generals to the armies.
Ever since NSB came out, this is no longer the case.
Clicking army commander portraits only opens the Field Marshal window, with Generals being greyed out and I can't assign them to armies. Now I have to do it by clicking on portraits on bottom of the screen.
Steps to Reproduce
1. Create an army group
2. Click on the field marshal icon to open the army group window on top left
3. In that window, switch to view armies instead of divisions and click on army commander to assign a general
4. You will see you can only assign Field Marshals to individual armies, not generals
5. You can only assign a general to the army on the bottom window
