I posed about this in the thread above. battleSHIPS with battleSHIP armor in the battleSHIP production window are somehow considered battleCRUISERS in the fleet management part of the game (unless you make new ones...then only the new ones are considered battleSHIPS). They are BOTH ship types depending on which window you're looking at and its driving me insane. They can't be BOTH! Either you need to bump their armor down to battlecruiser armor to correct this game bug or you need to consider them battleships in fleet management as well.

Also, Italy has spotting planes 2 without the research. Easy fix. Fix the game so they already have this researched.

Steps to Reproduce
Play the game as a major naval power with battlecruisers (Japan, UK). Attempt to manage the battlecruisers, upgrade them, or make new ones. You can't because they're battleships.

Play Italy. Have tech you're not supposed to have. Click the research button...you still can but it does nothing and wastes time.

As has been explained, repeatedly, the issue is the default modules for hulls overwriting assigned modules when those assigned modules are superior to the default modules for starting classes.

I wanted to submit an official bug report so that the problem is hopefully corrected.
