HOI 4 avatars not showing up

Do you now need to have your account synced with Steam to register games (for forum access, icons, etc.)? This was not always the case.

I believe so with the new forum

Small update on this.
The mapping for the avatars is correct and this has been confirmed since some users have access to the avatars. This leads me to believe that it is browser / cache related. What I'd kindly ask is for you who have issues to sign out, delete your cookies and cache and then log back in to see if that refreshes the list. If it doesn't work I'll look at it when I get back to the office tomorrow.

I've tried it in Chrome Version 50.0.2661.102 m and Explorer version 11.0.9600.18314 and it works without issues. Since some users are able to see the avatars it's clear that the avatars are mapped correctly to the Hearts of Iron 4 product and I'm still convinced it relates to cookies / cache.

- Log out
- Clear your cookies and cache (important to do both!)
- Close browser
- Start browser and log back in
- Go to your owned items and click the Sync button (make sure you've connected your Steam account to Steam!)
- Check if the Avatars are visible

Could it be related to steam purchases, while paradoxplaza purchases are fine?

I've been thinking the same actually but it should not be related. If you get the icons it means you have the item registered on your account so it should work, especially since you see the folder in the avatars section.

A question if you don't mind indulging me . Can you change the resolution on your screen to anything else and see if that solves it? I'd put this in the "long shot" category but it could work .

Hmm... You had similar issues with new forum update. And now this. Maybe the programmer(s) should take look at the mirror?

It's browser / resolution related, not forum related so this time I can't point the finger . When it comes to mapping who owns what I'm the one doing that and nothing has changed since last night so I succeeded on my first go !

I have cleared my web history, through internet options but it didn't help and yes, I have added steam to my account and done that part. I have also logged out and logged in again to no avail.

Just slightly annoying that all the other avatars of the games are present but not for this one. Wtf...

They are there. If it was broken no user would have it but as the majority do, it's browser related. Click the Sync button on your Owned Items again and also try and change the screen resolution, it should work then.

I bought HoI4 Field Marshal Edition. and linked my Paradox Account.
but haven't received Hoi4 Forum Icon.

You don't have the icons either. Please try and Sync your Owned Items.

All of you who can't see the avatars, log out and back in. This time (for real!) it should be solved!

Log out, back again, then check the avatars. I just ran the script again (literally a minute ago!) to make sure everything was updated.
