Description
With Ethopia after defeating the Italians I joined Comintern in WW2. Latest Iran and Iraq was declared war on by both Allies and Comintern . I think Russia declared war on Iran and Allies/Comintern followed, then British declared war on Iraq (and Allies and Comintern followed). Iran and Iraq joined Axis if I remember correctly (it was late).
When Iran was defeated the game reverted all nations to default except Iraq and ended all wars of Comintern without a peace conference. Terrritories that were not reverted back to default is Iraq: it lost land to France (former Free France before the bug). Japan also still holds it occupied territories in the Pacific. Germany kept Austrian and Czech territories.
I lost French Somaliland to German Reich (which got all Vichy territory) but I kept all Italian territories I won in the war at beginning of the game (Italy and Afar).
Created Countries kind of stayed. All Vichy area was German Reich. The two puppets (Ethiopian Somilailand and Eritrea) I created stayed, French Somaliland I occupied reverted back to German Reich (which took all Vichy territory).
Nations that changed during the game stayed and did not revert back to 1936 names (Nationalist Spain, Greater Hungary, Legionary Romania and Bulgaria e.g.).
All wars for my player nation were canceled, I am at peace now but still member of Comintern. All other relations except wars stayed the same too (guarantees, land leases, etc).
Iran is now member of Allies. Iraq is now member of Greater East-Asian Co-Prosperity (lead by Japan).
German Reich, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Italy (all Axis) also quit all wars by the bug,
All Allies are now only at war with Greater East-Asian Co-Prosperity lead by Japan (including Iraq).
Comintern is at Peace.
Japan and all other members of its alliance Greater East-Asian Co-Prosperity (including Iraq) are at war with Allies.
Poland and Norway was defeated. Free France was alive and fighting, Vichy was alive but lost all African territories. Norway was occupied by Germany but about half of it was liberated. Denmark was occupied by Germany. German took Kiew and was pressing on Leningrad. Italy lost all African territories.
Comintern was at war with Axis only - now at peace.
Allies were at war with Axis and Greater-East-Asian Co-Prospority - now at war with Greater-East-Asian Co-P. only.
Chinese United Front was at war with Greater-East-Asian Co-Prospority - still at war with Greater-East-Asian Co-P.
Since Comintern was not at war with Greater-East-Asian Co-Prospority, it seems only wars the player nation Comintern was part of were ended with borders and countries partaking in that war going back to default borders.
Steps to Reproduce
No idea, sorry. It is Dec 1943 in mid of WW2 with Allies, Axis, Comintern, Greater-East-Asian Co-Prospority and United Chinese Front in wars and alliances to each other. For whatever reason it seems Iran's defeat caused a bug ending all wars Comintern was part of and defaulted all nations that were occupied by Axis or Comintern to its default borders.
