HoI 1.03 NA

I'm very sorry about this but SFI had some serious problems today and I don't hold it against them.

How can we fix so that people can DL the 1.03 files?

1. Someone who has the Scandinavian version can install the patch but choose a different directory and then just zip the files with directory structure intact and then make it available from one or more of all the excellent HoI sites.

2. Try with the Scandinavian version (we have never done that as we don't have any SFI CDs)

3. Beats me...

Point one above WILL work as it will produce the same file set as SFI base their installer on.

Exactly how late it is over there in your part of Europe, it is nearly 7pm Eastern Daylight time on the east coast here in the states...

If you can't find a place, can you at least tell us (in the morning when you have gotten rest) what we need to do with the english version to make it work until SFI gets the official N/A patch out? I'd ask for directions right now but you'll probably tell me to go into a dos prompt and type format c:

Everyone here really appreciates what Paradox is doing and has done to this point. Very surprised, but then again 1.02 was the same way.

Like I said in another post, the griping about SFI will accomplish nothing on these forums, Paradox and the rest of the world have heard by now what happened and probably don't care...

Instead call up SFI and gripe directly to them or something.

Got to echo this. Great job by all.

Going to go further, as SF seems to be getting blasted on the board today; There would be no NA EU-EU2-HOI without them. Publishers don't appear to be the most popular chain in the software world, but without them Sweden would still be known only for furniture and dodgy cars
