bit harsh.. not spamming I just decided I should put it in a proper thread than discuss here as didn't fit with topic. Only asking for correct history nothing contentious.. but to give you a chance.. if UK started the game owning the US would you not complain?

Just mod it or ask someone else to do it; it's fairly easy.

Not the same thing AT ALL, what's with this forum and straw man arguements?

NO i have to put money in my navies now as portugal even though I am already kinda poor :(
But I shall do it and I think it is a great improvement from the previous one and I no longer have to spend NF on colonizing which is great since taht was always annoying.

A grand strategy game that doesn't make Portugal spend money on its navy is defective :p

Ignoring the fact you made mine heart skip a beat by showing an apparently old developers thread.

Yes, you get all your points back. Even if you put 1000s of points in a colony and you win the race. You will get all the points back minus the costs for the colony itself. This way you will see continuous waves of colonies, as colonies get estabilshed with CP return. Allowing further colonies to be estabilished.

When I invest points in a colonial race, and then I withdraw to prioritize other states, Do I get all the colonial power invested back, or just part of it?

You should get all of it.
