Hello, i have bought the game some time ago and i am really enjoying it so far, and i have been keeping up with it ever since.
I would like to talk about the hive minds, and what you folks think about it. what i mainly see are people worried about its ballance and mechanics. it seems that (from what i have been seeing) it will be a sort of parasite or something along those lines, that "controls" a subject species.
What i would like to see, assuming that this ever gets spoken about tomorrow, is the ability to persue the idea of a hive mind, with the Ascension perks, revolving mostly arround the syntethic path, perhaps turning one planet into the Hive mind itself. as such all of your subjects would follow the ethics in place . these of course would have high maintenance levels making it a downside of having a hive mind, and perhaps having the ability to assimiliate (Cliché i know) other species, and as such the necessity to upgrade the Hive world in order to
better manage your drones, something along the lines of levels of efficiency, and computing power.

Anyways im hoping for something similar to this:

Also share your toughts, i would love to know what you fellas have to say.

TLDR
Completly Robotic species ruled by a Hive mind. Something along the lines of the Borg ;)

The Hive Mind government can be selected at start, or it can be developed later on by taking the Genetic Ascension Perks and unlocking advanced genetic engineering options (i.e. the ability to, among other things, add or remove the Hive Mind trait).

It is, as with everything tied to Ascension Paths, mutually exclusive with the other two (for balance, lore, and developer manpower reasons).
