I just started a game as Tuscany and hoped to play the entire game as a republic under the Medici family for the sake of historical flavor. I was surprised when I was not given the option to choose Piero or Lorenzo following Cosimo's death around 1460. I was instead given the option to choose from a host of generic candidates. One of which who just happened to be named "Girolamo Savonarola." I'm not given the option to choose from another member of Medici family but I'm given the option to choose a lunatic Dominican friar as my administrative candidate?
