Hi. I was wondering if it is possible to have two separate HIP installations, one with SWMH included and one without? I get bored of playing with that individual mod, and would like to play a save with a view to export to EUIV -which is obviously not going to happen with SWMH installed. I suppose I could uninstall HIP and then install without SWMH, but that is a bit of a faff really. An easier way to switch would save a lot of time.

Sorry if I'm being unclear, or if this question has been asked already (I did search, but you never know).

When running the installer, one of the first questions it asks is whether you'd like to install to a custom folder / mod name (default is no). If you type 'y' or 'yes' to that, you can enter a custom name for your installation and then do a regular installation afterward with either a different custom name or the default name and include different module choices. Both will show up in the launcher, although don't activate them at the same time obviously. E.g., if you do an installation to Vanilla Map without SWMH, you'll get an option in the launcher called HIP - Vanilla Map.

Will there be an update of HIP this weekend?

I don't think so. The EMF beta already has and will have considerably more new content and fixes by then (should be a pretty powerful new customization or two within next few days on top of the current crop of changes), but I don't think HIP's ready for a full release this weekend.

Yep, actually, a whole new customization decision called New World Order is coming (it's in the open beta right now, and though I'm still futzing with some of its details, it's fully functional) that takes the same general idea farther, allowing you to, among other things, setup de jure kingdoms for all Catholic realms, Christian realms, Muslim realms (or all realms), and any combination or intersection thereof. It's a pretty powerful geopolitical terraforming tool.

The next game that I play will be with it applied to all Christian realms (which will also dismantle the ERE like I did the HRE and open-up all of its de jure kingdoms for politickin' too, though with me choosing to leave the Seljuks and Co. intact there).

Still not able to solve the ARKO coat of arms issue.. I wonder if perhaps using ARKO as a separate install path might be better for those having issues? The dynasty coat of arms are quite frankly all a mess.
I'm not sure if we're having the same problems, but I can't customize CoA like I can in vanilla. All I get is the Plain layout. I used to use the different layouts to make interesting CoAs. Also, there aren't any emblems anymore except for 1 (?!) & a few of the designs are the same. I'm using HIP & MissingCoA.
