If there would be any big SWMH addition I would support in the long term, it would be adding the rest of India to at least one of the starts. However, I understand that would be a really difficult and time consuming process so I get why you wouldn't do it when you might have better things to do.

I think the Bengal area is the most important part of India to add. I think adding Tibet now would also be interesting.

The bookmark is still available if you dont use SWMH. A good chunk of the characters and rulers for the bookmark was made up by paradox because of lack of sources, SWMH would have to make a lot more up for all their map. I'm guessing they would prefer to spend time working on bookmarks later on where they can use actual historical sources for the bulk of it.

A Carolingien kingdom title only qualifies if it'd also qualify for pressing a weak claim against at that time (you just don't need the weak claim).
