The various events for that event chain have lengthy MTTH times, so you could just be getting quite unlucky.
I got multiple positive events in a row (Well, over the decades), but was still 'further than when I started'. Checked the variables in the save file and I was at like -15. No idea how it happened, it doesn't seem like that is normal.

  • I just downloaded, extracted the files, l into my mod folder and followed the prompt to install, but it does not show up in my launcher when I try to enable the mod. Is it because of the recent patch that was released? My mod folder has the mod and the zip file but I have extracted the mod in the mod file. No other HIP files exist on my computer either having deleted the previous mod to accommodate the newer mod. My modules file contains the default options.

Where can I find details on previous versions of HIP? For instance, where can I see which versions of HIP go with which versions of CK2?

I'm trying to play a savegame and I'm getting a message that it is from an older version of CK2 so it won't open unless I have that version of CK2 -- and presumably the corresponding version of HIP -- installed.

Also, where can I see which version of CK2 I have installed? (I can see my version of HIP in the "version.txt" file.)

Open the "Previous Release Branches" spoiler at the top of this thread.

That should show up in the upper-right corner of the CK2 launcher.

In HIP there is no Viceroyalties? There is no way to get the title back after the death of the Duke?
Viceroyals are replaced by imperial government, after you get imperial administration law all vassals you create afterward will be imperial government rather than feudal and you haven't opportunity to deny their successor higher level titles they inherit.

A quick question. Recently I’ve been experiencing crashes in my latest game save, and I’m wondering if it’s due to other mods like Rich Childhood and whatnot.

I can get a few months before the game freezes and then goes to desktop. Just curious if that could be the cause like CK2+ where there’s no guarantee that just because a mod works that it isn’t affecting the overhaul mod in some way.

Thanks in advance.

Have you deleted the Chalcedonian faith?
Chalcedonian isn't in vanilla and was never added to HIP, so it can't be "deleted". You're thinking of CK2Plus.
