I swear I searched every single file, but my searching generally amounts to Open file in Notepad++ -> Ctrl+F "bogo" -> find nothing -> Open file in notepad++...etc.

I opened all the event files at once, hit Ctrl-F, typed bogomilist into the text-entry field, and pressed the Find All in All Opened Documents button.

In Notepad++'s "Find" window, the third tab is "Find in Files" - given a directory, it searches in all files within, without the need to open them.

Ctrl+Shift+F in Sublime Text 3 will get you there as well. Sorry, I feel the need to promote the ST3 editor on these forums occasionally, since it's just such a whirlwind of awesomesauce vs. the on-the-way-out Notepad++.

While we're making recommendations: on Mac, go with (free) Text Wrangler (or its paid big brother, BBEdit).

There's this event in which if you have no children, then landless members of your dynasty will start asking you for land. Is this a HIP or a vanilla feature? I even had an extremely distant relative ask me for Paris - the flourishing capital of the Empire of France! I really think it should be toned down

Are you sure? There's a vanilla event (family_events.txt/37001) in which a relative asks for any title, and there's an EMF event (plus_faction_civil_wars.txt/PlusFaction.400) in which the leader of a 4I faction demands a specific title, but I haven't personally seen an event in which a relative asks for a specific title.

Must have been the vanilla event then! The event text asks just mentions giving away a title, but the option specifies which title will be given when you mouse over it.

Since I'm not sure if it is a bug or feature I'm writing here. The question: does the Euchite Pentarchy only consists of Antioch, Rome and Alexandria (as shown below) or did something went wrong somewhere?

Two questions: What is the difference between default and aggresive historical outcome promotion setting?

Is there any way to make AI controlled courtiers that have a dynasty to get married? Many dynasties, some even at the start of the game, are landless, and I don't want to see them die out, but it's kinda hard to try and marry their members at the start of almost every game. Of Godwine, Knytling and few other in 1066 come to mind.

Heyo, did I do a wrong installation?
The clothes, faces and CoA all look very weird. Everyone has the blue garb and when I go into character customazation there are only 2 options for clothing for all characters.
I think everybody only has the clothes of secret societies or something. Havent palyed the game in a long time so I can't really point what is wrong.

Edit: Okay sorted that out, apparently I had to run the vanilla game first and THEN launch with the mod.

I put this in another thread, but I can't start a new game because it loads to a crash. Is it related to the patch?

I believe we need the mod to be updated guys. So just be patient, currently there is no rolling back in steam's beta as far as I can see.

Literally updated as me and my friends relaunched to fix sync problems, and there is no old version of 2.7.0.2 to go back to. It crashes when you start a game, don't get hopeful when it gets to the main menu. We lost our whole game now until the fix is released ;-;

Yeah sadly no CK2 until the updated HIP version arrives.
But I don't think it will take long since the team should have already worked with the beta .
