I was wondering if someone could tell me, which divs actually had attached brigades to them in real life, and exactly how many units did they have.

I have read alot of books but have never found any evidence showing that divs had brigades attached to them, especially specific brigades such as AT and rocket artillery.

I thought they were just spread in smaller numbers among several units, but never in brigade types.

i think brigade in hoi2 is a bit of a generalization as the numbers and space involved precludes more detailed account of the actual dispositions of this or that artillary squad
