As long as Decisions will be that easy to add/remove/alter I'll be happy.

It will be interesting to see how the AI handles decisions where previous games presented them as events with 3 or 4 options.

Events and Decisions are handled the same way. In the other two games which use this engine, you have an "events" folder and a "decisions" folder, with all relevent files in each. Quite easy to remove ones you don't care for, or rewrite them, which is also surprisingly easy.

A ´historical accuracy´-slider at game-setup might actually BE a good idea. At the lowest, there is a (say) 50/50 chance for ´anschluss´ et al. and at the highest, everything is bound to happen historically. Would suit everyones tastes if it was feasable and done...

I like that idea too. It would be useful also to have an option for "flavour events" showing news headlines from that era, a feature which some mods had for HOI2, but which get tiring after a while. With a checkbox, everything would be fine.

if you do anything unhistorical, of course the game will go unhistorical as well. If you go differently on lets say production than historically, then your neighbours will do other things as they think you are threatening etc..

so why not start at 1939 if you want an exact ww2.

hmm, like:
- parts of China surrender to Germany
- Italy conquering France (same Italy that has such great success in Greace)
- Spain joining the Axis after 2-3 months
- Swiss joining the Allies
- ...

I fear what will happen when the game starts 1936.
