I've been thinking about this idea, and it's time to put it to text. Currently the nation designer only allows you to make custom nations. That's all well and good, but there've been many a time what I wanted wasn't to play an entirely custom nation, but to play a historical nation with different conditions. Altered national ideas, different province setup, after it "died" in real life.

Best example to sum up everything this addition would bring:
Setting the startdate to the Seven Years' War, entering the Nation Designer, and when you leave you can play as Brabant with the provinces of Flanders as well and a Cavalry Combat tradition.

While there are probably few interested in beign able to play that specific example (I'm not even), I'd guess that it's not few who would want to be able to do the same thing, just with a different country and startdate.

TL:DR: Let us use the Nation Designer to also edit vanilla countries, instead of just making custom ones.
