So I know it's super early and everything, but what are the chances that when you guys finish a new patch that it will be compatible with Zeus 10 saves?

I cant personally ever play Vanilla Ck2 ever again
I tried to play vanilla with the RD DLC...Oh the horror. the horror. I promptly reverted to the previous patch. Besides I have a unfinished Hrvatska game so..u boj, u boj !

Eh one of my favorite youtubers is doing a Lets Play Vanilla RD Run and the way he plays is just amazing ( He Roleplays His chars traits, Which makes the game much more fun even in Vanilla because now your actions have a good reason for them ) and yeah will try to do a Vanilla Run.. Although I really need my HIP fix because I am starting to miss my coronations and other events that only happen with the HIP mod.

Coronations are great. You get to meet and hobnob with your fellow nobles, even the ones who hate you. Lots and lots of wine, food and song. And if you're lucky you might get some quality time with a man or woman in some dark alcove or bedroom in the bargain !

So I've been seeing lots of things about immortality, and I was wondering. How is HIP going to deal with this? Is it going to deal with this? It seems like fun to play with, but it's not very historical.

how do you know there were immortals or not ? you think someone immortal would brag about it in history channel ? got to keep it secret ofc
the new dlc has options that you can turn on or off when you start a new save, hence i would be surprised if hip didnt make use of that and take that fantasy event option over

To be fair the immortality events, apocalypse and other fantasy stuff is not really "real". For our character the black death and the eneormous amounts of deadly sick may very well seem like the end times. but ofc we know better. Same with the immortality stuff. our characters may very well believe they are immortal until they die.

I don't see why HIP wouldn't deal with it the same way the base game does, by having it toggleable in the game rules, besides HIP has had the spawn of Satan regrowing limbs like in the base game for ages without issues.
Uh the immortality is definitely real, you know because they don't actually die of old age.

The apocalypse features are awesome! If you read what the historians wrote in the early dark ages, it seems really grim and apocalyptic. Volcanoes/asteroids creating dust blocking out the sun, causing famine and plagues wiping out half the population etc. This game should be grim and horrible, but i agree about the immortality stuff.
I'm hoping it's left as an option, just like in vanilla?
Shattered World isn't very historical. Neither is Sunset Invasion.

Yep immortality should be a thing. The event chain itself is very random and not very easy to succeed. And it brings lots of flavor into the game.

Agreed. At least have fantasy options togglable in the menu or something like Ahistorical Empires and other rules.

If the options menu is able to have stuff added to it, then it will be a great tool for the HIP options. They can be added to that instead of adding them the intrigue menu.

I believe they explicitly said it would be modable, just so people didn't have to stuff those things in day 1 events any more.

Well chaps I am dissapointed, I expected all of you to abandon your actual jobs and lives outside of the internet, lock yourselves into darkened rooms and get the new version of HIP about 4 hours after Reapers Due was released.
