So the fact you have the mod in the launcher means the .mod file is there, but do you actually have a HIP folder in the mods folder alongside it?Yeah. Literally, all the DLCs are ticked, and HIP is the only mod ticked. Double checked, and it seems that I'm fundamentally playing the vanilla game even with the mod selected.

Provide the version.txt file inside your compiled HIP mod folder (default is 'Historical Immersion Project' within your mod folder -- which BTW is NOT inside the base game directory structure). Look at the HIP.mod file's "path" entry if you're not sure what this folder is named.I've downloaded and installed HIP this morning, selecting default options for everything when running the installer. HIP is the only mod selected on the game launcher and the game loads fine. However, when I go to start a new game I've noticed that the map features subject to SWMH aren't there/working - in particular the additional provinces - it's still the vanilla map basically. I've gone through all the start dates, still the vanilla map, and even found the provinces .txt file for SWMH and it has all the additional provinces there - so I know that they downloaded and were extracted correctly at least. I haven't started a game, as of yet, so can't say for sure whether everything regarding SWMH isn't working for me or if it is simply the map features.
I read the original post saying that the Iron Century start date isn't supported by SWMH yet, so does that mean I need to revert back to the version of CK2 prior to the IC update to get the full benefits of SWMH?
Is there something I'm doing wrong through the installer - although I doubt this, as I'm following the default answers - or is it something that I have to go into the modules and .txt files to fix?
If there is a more relevant thread or post, then please point me in that direction!
Any and all help is welcome. Thanks!
Edit: because my interest is piqued with regards to HIP, I've started to watch a HIP series on YT, and noticed that all the interfaces from the vid are totally different to what I had when starting a new game. They are using a slightly earlier version of HIP to this, but does this mean that the whole installation hasn't gone according to plan for me, and not simply having problems with just the SWMH?
This is golden1. I always delete old files whenever I install new version.Need to supply your version.txt files since EMF doesn't repeat the Qarmatian religion definition, and thus neither does SWMH, so...

The Cuman portraits are actually very different, and located in the Horse Lords Content Pack. For CPRPlus installation. It says I need the Cuman portraits DLC, but I already have the turkish portraits DLC (which includes the Cumans), does anybody know what else may be required?
Still experiencing bald Francique characters and, occasionally, invisible Francique children.
I will try to exterminate the devilish Karlings and see if this issue abates.
