It might considered the Ireland Dukes as kings as the Name RI which is used if you do not have the localization English on means King. maybe that is it ?. Because i Theory the land my char owns is called a Kingdom.
It's not gonna be this. The code sees you as a duke, it doesn't care what the localization means.

Yeah i figured that.. Anyway as soon as he became King of Erie / Ireland he was able to change the Investiture law and make the pope happy. Which is what counted even though Moral Authority is pretty much very low but at least the popes will stop hating his family now

The core of EMF's recently overhauled religious setup has been ported to base SWMH. Most of the extended religious mechanics haven't and won't be ported, but those central to new religions have (e.g., the Isma'ili Caliphate Rising event chain).

Can you elaborate on this if possible? Does this mean if I want to play with all the new heresy mechanics I can't use SWMH?

No, it means that for those people souly using SWMH, some of the new religious mechanics will be included (even if they're using it without HIP).

These features were previously included in the EMF 'package', but some have been ported to SWMH essentially.

Can I make a suggestion for the next HIP build? There was a submod called Additional Objectives with a HIP version, it did added a lot of new cool stuff in the sense of character ambitions and plots that really made those things way more live and immersive. This submod is now unfortunely old and have a ton of issues so no longer is a option, but couldn't it later be fully reproduced or integrated into HIP or one of the HIP built in mods?

Nope, this should be fully save-compatible. "Xth Revolt of the Y Revolt League" wars will invalidate on day 1, however, as we have transitioned to many different CBs for this type of previously-blanket war. That's the only upset of which I'm aware. The comment I made that you may be referring to was only for the beta; once users have the latest SWMH too (as they do in this download), it's compatible.

Hey Zij,

Thank you and the team so much for the update and continued hard work. If possible, in the next update that does break saves, could you please put some trait placeholders in the traits files? This way anyone using submods that add or mod traits don't get their traits all jumbled around in future updates?

I know this is a minor thing, but why is the duchy of Sicily under Greek rule called a Tourmarch (a single province) instead of a Thema (a duchy)? It's really bugged me for several releases but I don't want to change it in case it's purposeful.

It's because of this line

Code:
name_tier = count
I think the question was "why in terms of history", not "how in terms of game mechanics".

The thing about muslims being more agressive, you might have gone overboard. The Abbasid AI keeps declaring on me every chance it gets, even if it has less manpower than I, and as a result it keeps losing, keeps going bankrupt each time it loses, and imperial decay is above eighty just fifteen years into the campaign.

Strange in my game..The Muslims have all Iberia but they have not progressed further into Europe though and Europe at the moment in my game is a mess. With many different Kingdoms split apart. I am quite shocked they have not progressed into Europe by now.. If at all they just staying in Iberia and not moving at all. So at least in my game.. I am not seeing them being Aggressive at all :(.

They are all united on Iberia as well.

(EMF+SWMH) Total levy sizes and levy reinforcement rate for Muslims has been boosted a bit to counterbalance the fact that the Muslim world is very holding- and province-sparse compared to Europe on SWMH.
Wouldn't it be better to tie the levy bonus to cultures, rather than religions (if that's possible)? That way, Umayyads won't gain a bonus but possible Zoro/Zunist/Christian/etc. realms in the same region will.

The Abbasids start the game historically w/ massive Imperial Decay. Also, caliphate AIs are always suicidal-aggressive in my experience. Unfortunately, I can't tune caliphates down while I tune-up the rest of 'em.

Religion-tied levy bonus was the best, simple, lightweight solution. We've balanced-out the other affected religions in the EMF Beta, if interested.

Ideally, it'd be a finely-grained region-based modifier for balance, regardless of religion or culture, as the issue is regional imbalance and not religious per se. However, this cuts it virtually the same way and has no overhead, so it'll do for now.

Giving it a spin. Relatedly, is the "src" folder in the beta download supposed to make its way into my modules folder somehow?
It doesn't matter either way. If it's there, it won't have any effect. If it's not there, it won't have any effect.
