I am using the default configuration with SWMH and without CPR as I don't own all the required dlcs. Here's what I can see in a standard custom game start (1066) - then the problem is not the savegame coming from a previous version of HIPWhich modules are you using specifically? And are you using other mods than the ones found in the HIP installer?
have you deleted your previous HIP version before installation?I am using the default configuration with SWMH and without CPR as I don't own all the required dlcs. The proper way to do a fresh reinstall is to delete any 'modules/' subfolder in your mod folder from the previous HIP install, and then follow the standard installation instructions. Also, consider verifying game cache, triple-checking that you're using the same modules as you were in the previous savegame (can look in the old Historical Immersion Project/version.txt to be sure prior to reinstalling, unless you've already wiped that out).Is there a more proper way to unistall than manually deleting the folder? I have already removed the previous version of the mod before the installation..

Well, apparently, don't use the old savegames (I assume from before the save-incompatible release of SWMH-- release before the release before this one). I wish I could give you better news, but them's the breaks with save-compatibility. It's also possible that minor CK2 patches have affected some save-compatibility; that we cannot control if so.I don't know if this is the right thread for going on talking about the technical issue I am facing. Please redirect me to the right place in case it isn't. I uninstalled and reinstalled the whole game, then installed the mod. I first tried to load a new game, and everything was ok. Then I tried to load a savegame from the previous version of the mod, and the troubles with the provinces of the map showed up again. That's strange because before uninstalling the game, the bug showed up with new games as well. Now it happens with saved games only. Any tip? Thank you in advance.
Kiev is not coastal, so no, it cannot have a port. It is merely adjacent to a major river.Notice Kiev is unable to build a shipyard nor are ships able to dock in the captial. Is that working as intended?

If so, then that was a transient error. I play Kiev quite a bit and it's never been an intended behavior or one that I've ever seen. You can't build ports on major_rivers, period. Otherwise, the major_rivers would be in the ocean. CK2 modding constraints.Previous versions of HIP you were able to build a port there as I believe it was there to represent that Kiev was used as a raiding centre.
it's possible to convert a save game to eu4?
Thanks for the answerYes, but you'd need to do some modding of your own to make things line up 100%. Atleast with SWMH.
Hi Ziji, could this be adjusted that this CB would be somehow locked for at least a year or 2 since the start of the game? The anti-nomad 'Liberation' CB has been replaced with a custom EMF CB
