Same bug here ... but happens in a MP game, really didn't want to start with all my friends a new game, apart they will not do it ....

... quest says , I should board the ship
and it is marked as FINISHED
... so that damn ship stays there forever !
ANYONE KNOWS HOW I COULD DELETE THAT SHIP/QUEST in my game , as I am playing with my brother (where this quest WORKED and he has finished it !) ... his ship vanished after he approched it with his fleet ...
We are now 40 years further in the game and that damn ship is still there
IT ANNOYES the hell out of me, as my homefleet alwys wants to attack that ship !
