Cims should use clinics and hospitals more often especially when they age. With a city of healthcare coverage of 66%, there shouldn't be just 13 patients in healthcare facilities with total capacity of 500 at any time; this completely defeats the purpose of medical centre. People are already not visiting clinics or hospitals WHY is there a need for medical centre. And the accessibility to healthcare facilities should play a part in determining the death rate in the city. If everybody is healthy and never even needing to visit clinics and hospitals once in a while, they don't just all of sudden die as soon as they hit a certain age and not even from external events like traffic accidents or fire or etc., just by staying at home and/or visiting Japanese gardens and shopping? That is ridiculous!!!

Would be nice to see this changed and improved in the next patch or somebody make a mod to have death rate tied in with wealth, healthcare accessibility, education level, fire coverage and crime rate.

Many thanks.

i have always hated how many hospitals you need to build in sim city, and now this game. these cities are not that big, i shouldnt need to have 5 large hospitals and still have sick people.

Instead you have to build gazillions of crematoriums all over the city to collect the dead after they just spontaneously combust when they are supposed to be going to the hospital to get treatment when they get sick. So it just amounts to the same thing. Crematoriums is the hospital of Cities Skyline which is what doesn't make sense. You are supposed to have more hospitals than crematoriums in a city.

In my city with pop of 89K, I only have ONE hospital and it's still enough to treat the entire city and yet I have to have over TEN crematoriums all over the city to deal with the death waves. Does this make sense to you? CO really dropped the ball on this one and they are not willing to change this.
