HOI IV runs ok on my desktop PC, but is very sow on my Macbook Pro. I notice that when I turn off 'high quality pixel shaders' the game performs much better. However the map no longer displays weather effects such as snow. I can only assume this is a bug as all that's needed is to turn the terrain from green to white. Also, it renders this graphic change all but useless if weather effects such as snow become invisible.
