Hi.

I have high crown authority in my game but there apparently is still some infighting between my vassals. This is annoying since this prevents me acting on my plot to revoke one of my vassal's titles, thus making him rebel and giving me a reason to imprison him, revoke his Duchy and then have him die in the oubliette of consumption.

I thought the higher crown authorities also get the benefits of the lower authorities. Am I wrong?

Wars can still occur through plots. It only prevents vassals from declaring war via diplomacy options, but they still can through plots and faction actions if I remember right.

Higher crown authorities do have the benefits of lower crown authorities as well. However, the crown authority that prevents wars between vassals does not prevent plots or factions--and some plots/factions will lead to war.

The one that's been going on for the past few years (seems to be in a stalemate) started during or right after my succession war, if I remember correctly. It's about a claim to a title so I'm not sure if it's due to a plot or if during the succession war the laws were temporarily not in effect since the two sides currently at war were "independent" during the succession war.
