Hello,

I noticed when watching HoI4 that the actual 'provinces' (the bordered areas smaller than the regions) on the map don't have their names displayed over them (or even have names AFAIK) even when zoomed in. I'd like to know if it's possible somehow to achieve the same result in EU4, such that when one zooms in past where the country titles display it simply displays the province borders alone sans province name, in the basic political and terrain mapmodes anyway. I'd much prefer the cleaner aesthetic this would have on the map. :3

If this can only be achieved via considerable modding perhaps it might also be nice to have your own provinces' titles displayed, along with any that you have selected. Any thoughts on that?

Not doable in regular game, as far as i know.

There could be a couple options through modding. For that, you need your base EUIV registered, and go to the User Mods subforum.
