Was it confirmed if in Multiplayer we can hide our Empire until actual game? On the release days we will be playing with a friend and we wanted to surprise eachother with our government type, species choice etc. by not telling it to eachother, but I wonder if we see from automatic in lobby our empires or can we prevent from showing them to others? Was it ever confirmed? Or if not, could @Wiz or someone else make confirmation?

I'd imagine some aspects of your empire would be revealed in the lobby such as flag design and possibly race. (Basically the inconsequential things)
Damn :( I hope there would be an option to somehow hide it or You would have to click on "Player" info like in EU IV or CK2 to see info like this so we could do some "house rules" for this. I would just love if any dev could confirm how it works.

Think, it is possible to show in the lobby yourself only your own flag, but the another players see only "?" as your flag like you see theirs.
