HI I am new to cities skylines and I know the devs don't post there any more it seems.

so I have some questions, maybe I can get answer's here, since this is your guys home, do you guys plan on doing any more dlcs and more updated patches I am just curious I do not know how things work here and there is no info on steam about future releases.
I have bought most of the dlcs as of right now, going to plan on buying more but I just want to make sure you guys are going to still be adding to the game, or are you working on a citie skyline 2?

Nothing has been announced either way as yet, I'm afraid. If and when it does, this forum is where you will see it.

So far we've been told that CO are still committed to supporting Cities: Skylines, so until that changes I'd assume they're still working on new content. They don't really announce things until it's pretty much done, so we just won't know what they're up to until they're ready to tell us. The good thing about that is that when they announce something, we usually don't have to wait months for a release. :)

They're also not super chatty. I think they lurk here a bunch, but unless they need to they don't really post. Too busy making cool stuff for us I imagine. :p

so what other city games do they have, like non fighting games, anything with leadership more tuned then CS like with a president and state senate. I am curious I have been playing civ 6 all the civ series really along of age of empires and strong hold but I am tired of fighting. and now that my son is watching me play he is still young I do not want him into violence well not yet. I seen tropical but it seems a little to childish. city skylines is the best so far in a city sim, second that is civ 6 then last sims but sims is coming out with sim 5 next year supposedly getting there revenge on cs. I hope cs don't allow that.

Sims 5 isn't coming out next year. (They've told us to expect "at least three more years of Sims 4.") Also a life simulator and a city builder are too different genres, though both are non-violent types of games.

lol yeah indeed I was like holy Sh!t but yeah I was surprised thats for sure, I am in love with the dev team at colossal order they have done such a amazing job with cities skyline, that even though they played sims growing up like the most of us they have really out did them, so I am wondering if they have added any more mods into the upcoming dlc, I don't like using mods do to the fact it removes the ability to gain achievements, but as well the built in mods like hard mode does this still affect that, or is there a way to pick that in the core game.

I just wanted to say hi to the cs team, I read on reddit that they speak here and engage with it's fan base unless the ceo lied lmao which who knows right.

The real Paradox games have much more engagement here.
CO lacks a bit, but they still stream(or let Paradox stream for them???).
they are also pretty hard at work with porting Cities to consoles.
I doubt that they are big into sims, more into sim city.
alot of mods dont break achievements, also why do you care? all the achievements in this game are meh and you can get them with just playing normal.

Tantalus is doing that. Not sure if they get any assistance from CO or not.

yeah co don't mess with console they stated on Facebook. its parapdox and some company with a T name like Tantalus tor something like that.

why do I care about achievements well I think that is kinda of simple its like getting a A on a art project that you put your heart and soul into.

1.) I put in a avg of 12 to 14 hours a day into cities skyline yes I just start playing about 4 or 5 days ago.

2.) it gives more of a meaning to me to get rewarded for something I invest a lot of time into.
3.) Steam achievements gives me that. its like ps4 I guess I am a achievement hunter and it proves that I have beaten the game. when you have them all.
