I hate to tell you this but the contest is only opened to residents of U.S., I'm not sure about Canada.
Well, I'm not really surprised.
However I do find it extreemly ignorant, by those keeping them (and others spreading the word), to have these 'competitions' only open to a minority of the internet crowd without clearly stating so.
Usually it's not untill clicking half a dozen links and beeing met by 10-15 adds that you find out that your not 'wanted'.
However this does not keep the companies from cashing in from hits on their netads your browsing gives them. IOW there is really no real reason why non N American visitors shouldn't also get the chance to win something, since they are making just as much money to them as any NA surfer.
It's false advertizing plain and simple & the only reason N American companies get away with it is becurse there are no international laws to stop them.
To sum it up, everyone please, next time there's a 'competition' you want to spread the word about, make a note if only 'USA & Canadans need bother'. For everybody else this is just spam costing both time and possibly money!
