Heretic Stronghold Never Ends

I have read about this issue from other users and now experienced it myself. A heretic stronghold icon that never disappears from a conquered county even long after they have been converted. Mousing over the icon gives no expiry date.

So I went through the save game file and found several instances like this:

Note the date of the heretic_stronghold modifier is set to year 1.

I tried to modify the date to something after the date of the save game and loaded up the game. The icon now showed an expiry date identical to the one I entered and upon the passing of that date the icon disappeared from the county, as expected.

I have attached the unmodified save game file in case that is of value.
