No, not just heretic, we should have lot's of different heretic sects which can war against and attack eachother. When you have a band of heretics that have become ruled by heretics for long enough, all the heretics should become the new sect, here's some ideas.
Each religious sect has certain rules. Each sect has it religious enemy, which is diplomaticly treated as another religion should they come into contact. Rules regarding bishops and marriage are placed down aswell. The Heretic trait passes on to children, though they may be "corrected" over time.
Dualist- believe that the material world is aligned with evil and the spirit with good, they seek to escape the material world and become spirit biengs.
Requirements- Religious tech Aestheticism.
Double piety effect for indulgant/temperate
20 piety lost for every child concieved.
Zealous dualists have a chance of starving themselves to death.

Women bishops- Yes

Normal diplomatic and other relations with Pagans, ie titles required for wars.

Arians- believe that Jesus was fully human and not divine, but was still the messiah and vested with divine power and authority.
