I think it is quite plain that CK3, as designed, is not really aiming for a historical experience. So unless that design ethos changes, I wouldn't expect much.

I think you're probably right, although it's the 'Generate Families' rule that annoys me most. I keep thinking 'who the hell are those kids?' and wondering if I've got the wrong family in mind, only to then realize they're random AI characters the game decided to spawn.
