Hey, I have quite annoying news and an appeal, both related.
I have being playing EU 3 for a while now and during this time, have being talking non-stop about my exploits to those closest to me. Including my girlfriend, who has recently decided she has had enough of hearing about the spread of my empire and wants to dabble at creating her own. As you can guess, I am stoked. I don't have many grand strategy enthused friends to call on, heck even generic RTS is hard to come by, so interest coming from the person I'm most intimate with is particularly sweet. Why is this annoying news you ask?
Well, she wants to try it out in her own time first. The demo however has a problem with graphics cards; it says she hasn't got 128MB to fall back on. Nonsense. Her computer is windows 7 and as I found this same complained repeated over and over online, I'm pretty confident it is the demo. Which is annoying. I could let her use my steam account to play it but this way we can't play together. She won't buy it without trying it either, which is reasonable.
So spectacular turn of events hindered by tech. This is where you come in. I was wondering if any of those account keys Paradox handed out were laying around and if so, may I have it. This way she can try it out and we can play together without spending any money, thus resolving my problem. So will you please help me bring another into the fold. I'd be very grateful.
(Disclaimers: I don't know what the stance of paradox is on these begging trends. I most certainly am not trying to rob them of the cost of a game, just trying to overcome a weird little dilemma. Plus I'm not asking for cracked versions but the copies Paradox themselves gave away, which in my head adds legitimacy. It doesn't but hey. So if this rubs the studio or even the board mods the wrong way, just delete. I won't even ask for justification or complain or nothing. Not that you need my permission or anything.)
