I was looking at Dev Diary #69 and now I'm just so excited for the new dlc.
This is the first thing that came to me when i was reading the new Dev Diary.
What I like to see in the game are mythical items like Holy Grail and Ark of the Covenant and so many other items around the world.

What can you do with Mythical Items:

discover mythical item ones or twice in a game. Or ones in a lifetime if your lucky.

If the mythical item is of your faith and the owner of another faith you can go to special mythical item holy war to clem mythical item for your faith.
I like to even enable to go beyond my diplomat range to fight for they mythical item. you can not attack some one of your own faith.

Mythical item can be lost during special mythical item holy war or damaged or stolen by third party in the war. anything can happen in a war.

You can not go to special mythical item holy war to steal mythical item if the owner is of the same faith. But you can visit mythical item as a holy place giving you and owner a bonuses. But only if the owner of the item is the same faith.

some special mythical item can belong to more than one faith group.

I think this would be interesting but they should be REALLY rare. Like once in every 3-5 games rare.

The lance longinus and the pieces of the true cross come to mind as 'real' historic mythical items. They ended up being pretty big motivators during the first crusade.

I don't see why the holy prepuce or the holy grail couldn't also be historic enough to include... although since CK3 is much more historical than CK2 we can be almost assured these are forgeries or at the very least non magical.

IMO the black stone should also be a 'mythical' item for these purposes as the Qarmatians famously stole it, followed by the Abbassids taking it back. Having a proper CB for that would be very very interesting.
