Just so you don't think there was any pro-UMP bias on my part, though, I cleared this method of determining the current Chancellor with heag before I went looking to figure out who it'd be. Granted, it doesn't work out so well for old Joe, but then, nobody said being President was going to be easy.
I am new if your character is a of perment residence (that is when they live in the country pay taxes do every thing like that but does not change their nationaity.) can they still vote in game

Welcome to Eutopia 3 - the new Republic. I am not a mod, but let me ask you a few questions that will help the mods respond to your question, or perhaps make it irrelevant. Your newly registered character has the title of Grand Duke, which is quite exalted. Some grand dukes are heads of state of grand duchies, like Luxembourg. Since you are living in the United Provinces of Eutopia, that doesn't seem to be the case. Other grand dukes are members of royal families for countries or empires like Austria and Russia, which no longer have monarchies or emperors. That would seem to be more likely in your case, although you are somewhat free to craft something as long as it doesn't re-write the real world history. I don't know whether Eutopia had any grand dukes or not, but the mods don't let characters write themselves into the royalty (not without specific permission which I guess would be unlikley to be granted), and so if you wanted to be Eutopia nobility, you would probably have to drop the "grand" from your title, but that wouldn't be consistent with being just a permanent resident, as you would be a citizen.
Is your character still a citizen of the country from which his title comes? Normally if you can vote somewhere else, you can't vote here, although there is an exception for citizens of St. Esprit and Tilapia. Or for countries like Ireland or Israel where citizenship can be obtained quickly. The central point of Eutopia 3 is supposed to be as a political RPG, so choosing to be a non-citizen places an unnecessary hurdle in your own way. Just ask Barak Mofaz, Estonianzulu's character. Someone who has been a permanent resident for 15 years can apply for citizenship. Maybe your character has been here that long?

So if I stay a perment rediance I can keep the Grand part but if I become a resident I have to get rid of the grand part
Maybe, it's very much possible that Eutopia had Grand Dukes, offcourse not as HoS but as noble's it's possible.
If it is a Eutopian title, you probably have to drop the Grand part.Cestius111 said:

I am not sure which mod is taking care of the CRO these days. I posted this to enable the issuance of bonds so that purchase of the Inter-Provincial Highway System from its Portuguese owners. This is somewhat of an end-run around the GA, but if another Minister is going to be allowed to impose tariffs without GA approval why should Loic remain so bound by convention? Please let me know if there any questions you need answered in order to decide whether of not to approve this. Loic would like to get this done prior to or at the start of the election campaign, so as to be able to brag about it.

Has some other Mod taken over the role from Voshkod of confirm that a stock or in this case bond issue has been successfully launched, or should I just assume that because it is plausibly priced the issue went well? Specifically, I am asking about the IPHST bond issue, whose prospectus is posted in the stock market thread. Thanks in advance!
