I am getting so frustrated with trying to build a metro line. I don't know what I'm doing wrong as I've tried everything that other people have suggested in other threads, I've watched videos over and over and understand what I am supposed to do ( I think) but when trying to just build a simple loop, without a depot involved and staying on the surface in sandbox mode I keep getting "Not enough room to build" error. I have tried different angles to link the tracks. Any ideas what I may be doing wrong as this is stopping me from playing this game at the moment

It is quite confusing, and it took me a while to work out. Firstly, you said that you are building a line without a depot. You need a depot for all lines. Secondly, the 'not enought room to build' message is because the game thinks that you are trying to build a seperate route. You need to tilt your camera so that you are looking down on the rails, and move the cursor so that just the end of the rails glow bright green, then you can drag the rails to keep building. It can be quite hard to find the place where the rails go green, so just move your mouse around carefully, until you see all the rails go green, and then carefully move the cursor towards the end of the rails and you will see the green end. Hope this helps! :)

Thanks for the advice. When I said I wasn't using a depot, I meant that I was just purely trying to complete a loop of track without actually making a metro line if you know what I mean. I have now found a method, the only one I know of, by bringing the track back to the original one and double clicking to end the track then starting a new peice to join the 2 ends together. I dont know why I need to use this method rather than just making one continuous loop (by just single clicking every so often).
