I try to join or host any # of times on Vnet, but every time i try to join it says Invalid IP and whenever I host, no one can join

We have updated our Community Code of Conduct. Please read through the new rules for the forum that are an integral part of Paradox Interactive’s User Agreement.
Maybe you don't have a firewall but the people you are trying to join could have one.
Plus here are some other questions:
1. Is the IP your giving out the right one? Make sure you are not using your network IP if you have one.
2. I assume you have 1.05?
3. Not using any edited files?
4. Have you tried using direct IP connect instead of VNET?
5. Are the people you are trying to connect with using a different version of the patch, are you on different continents etc.....
All I can think of for now.

1.It never asked me for an IP, I just clicked valkerienet

3.I edited text.csv, I added names and graphics for a bunch of U-defined countris, and I changed Mamalukes to Egypt
4.No, because I don't know my current IP
5.I don't know if they are on a different continent, I'll check.

Your editing may be some of the problem, with the current patch of 1.05. You cannot join any game if your DB event folders are different at all. I am not sure if it is the same for text.csv. You may want to back up your edited one and try using the originals again.
As for getting your IP tell me your operating system and I can show you how to aquire it.

Well, I did make a backup. Lets see if that works. but what would that have to do with IP?
It has nothing to do with your IP. I just thought you may like to know what it is, so you can still host games when VNET is down. But hey it is your call not mine.

Besides even if I did, it wouldn't matter I have a very jolly personality and don't let things get me down. Anyways the offer is still on the table if you give me your windows operating system I will tell you how to get your IP.
P.S. My pappy allways said the best medacine for tiredness is a cozy warm bed and about 12 hours.
