Help With the Event That Names Your Kids

Good afternoon.

I sit on the development board for the Avatar Mod. I am experiencing problems with the most important Event in the game. That is, the Event that names your kids.

Basically, what happens is that I input my kid's name in the box, and when I click the "ACCEPT" button, NOTHING HAPPENS. I thought it was something to do with my Vanilla rendition of CK2's configuration, but Verifying Game Files turned out nothing.

What Event is the Event that names your kids? I want to take a look at it and see if something is wrong in the code or interface.

What do you mean by "Nothing happens"? The event message gets stuck on the screen? The child still uses the RNG name instead of the one you've typed in? The child actually isn't there?

Yes. The child still uses the generated name.

Let's say his name is "Xipeng". I change the name to "Bubba" and hit the submission button. His name remains Xipeng.

It's not an event, but a hardcoded interface thing. Weird that it's not working for that mod. Is if working fine for vanilla on your machine?

Okay, I checked. It works in the Vanilla rendition, so it has to be something in the Mod.
