I´m about to start a game with Persia in the 1617 scenario and my problem is last time I tried I got my oh-so-beautiful behind kicked really, really hard(ended up seceding 3-4 provs )
So would anyone spare my well-shaped arse the pain and humilliation, please?

I totally forgot, the Ottomans were the boot-deliverers.
But i just wanted some general tips really, would be most grateful.

Don't go to war with the Ottomans until they are SEVERELY ripped apart by the rebellions they will get sooner or later. Try to expand eastwards (Uzbekhs/Kazakhs/whatever) and gain some CoTs for the money.

More information than we needed and maybe you were so busy looking at it you forgot to watch those Ottomans. Unless, of course, you were sitting on an ottoman when it happened which is then totally unexplainable!!
